TGCS for the Troops 2019

The TGCS Fund has joined forces with the CAPE  COD  &  ISLANDS  VETERANS OUTREACH  CENTER for the 2019 TGC for the Troops Golf Tournament.

CIVOC is a non-profit organization based in Hyannis that serves veterans in crisis throughout Cape 
Cod.  The organization offers counseling, housing assistance, transitional housing, a food pantry, 
and holistic therapies to stabilize veterans and their families so they may be valued members of 
their communities.

Together with the TGCS Fund further routreach and support of our veterans and active military families will continue in a meaningful manner.  Help these two great organizations support our heroes and join forces by participating by sponsoring a team, sponsorship or by just making a donation.

The character of our members is evident in the ways the Club “gives back” to the Cape Cod community. 
 

Several years ago, we established the TGC Fund of the Cape Cod Foundation, a donor-advised fund that provides critical financial assistance to Cape-area veterans and active military families.  Principle funding comes from “TGC for the Troops,” a golf tournament and reception supported by TGC management, members and local businesses. The TGC Fund touches hundreds of lives each year through grant applications submitted by registered 401(c)3 organizations that provide critically, “just-in-time” financial assistance to Cape veterans and active military families

Many of you have enhanced the TGC Fund efforts through participating in the annual TGC for the Troops Golf Tournament. Together we contribute to making Cape Cod a community where its veterans, active service military and military families are appreciated. The team effort put forth touches so many lives. This spirit and our hope is to be an example for others.
